May the wild edge of sorrow
Awaken this heart,
Carve new paths
Of kindness for self and others.
May this heart be held in an ocean of loving awareness.
This is a prayer for anyone navigating sorrow.
I love the weaving between nature and our hearts.
If the end of a day can rip open this rapture of color— can our hearts do the same as we face the end of a life?

Am I willing to believe that beauty (the Divine) will find us everywhere. Even at the edge of darkness? Even at the edge of sorrow?

When I consider that the ache of loss is encircled by the beauty of gratitude something softens in me.
