These circle canvases are reminded of circles of compassion. They came to being in a time where compassion is needed more than ever. Each one is named for a phrase of lovingkindness. May we extend to ourselves and all beings these phrases of lovingkindness.

May we feel surrounded by love

Friends, I woke this morning to love, after waking many times over the past few days to fear/terror, this was a welcome respite.

Here, is the whisper I woke to, this is all motivated by love. The handwashing, the social distancing, cancelling all these events is all motivated by love. How phenomenal is that? Love and care for the well being of people known and unknown has prompted leaders at every level to take drastic action.

When I reflect on the cancellations, the social distancing, and when I'm washing my hands (again), instead of thinking "WTF is going on. This is terrifying." Instead, I will think, "This is all motivated by love. May we feel surrounded by love."
