Two years ago, this large peony triptych was painted in many colors. Over time, something shifted, and I felt called to change it to all yellow peonies. Giving myself permission to change my mind became an act of trust, and reworking the piece unfolded with ease and joy.
Peonies remind me that nature does not strive. There is an inner knowing that can guide us on our path. In this moment, when so much feels uncertain, this painting holds my hope for tenderness, safety, and care, for myself and for others. Titled Beyond My Wildest Dreams, it reflects my belief that simple goodness, when nurtured, naturally blossoms.
